I have just had a new front door put in, apparently it is Tin! can I paint it with Satin Wood Paint on the inside?Satin wood paint on a tin front door?
All of our exterior doors are Stanley metal doors. They come preprimed and you can use any kind of exterior paint on them.

If it were me, I would use stain exterior latex. We just had our house repainted and they used Sherwin Williams SuperPaint. It is really nice.Satin wood paint on a tin front door?

Yes, as long as you use a primer first.
As it's a metal it will expand and contract with the temperature. You need a metal paint.
Hi, You can paint your Tin Door with Satin Finish.

Dulux has a paint for Wood %26amp; Metal Satin Finish, you can purchase it at your nearest B%26amp;Q store. Please do it with the Oil based and not the Water base.

You will have to Prime, Undercoat and then finish it of with your Satin Finish.
Any new metal door should already have a primer from the factory. And yes, you can use an exterior latex paint for both the inside and outside.
Yes, satin water-based latex is preferred on this kind of surface because it is more flexible and so handles metal expansions and contractions better.
