How can you get acrylic paint off a wood table?

My kids were painting Christmas ornaments and they used wax paper under the paint. Some white paint seeped thru the paper and on the table. Is there anything that will take it off without destroying the finish on the table?How can you get acrylic paint off a wood table?

If it just happened today, the paint probably hasn't cured. You can use warm soapy water and scrub with a gentle scrubbing sponge, the kind you'd use on a non-stick pan. Or, if it's not a lot of paint, just use your thumbnail. If the paint is stubborn, let the water sit for a few minutes.
