How do you get paint off of wood?

Hey! My brother and I were fixing up our house today [while our parents were gone] and we got some latex paint on the molding!!





What should I do?


Should I wait for it to dry then wipe it off?





I know that water would be a bad idea because it'd just get rubbed into the wood.





Any suggestions?,

Latex paint is water based, so that's the best way to dissolve it. Soap will help, and you won't need a lot. Don't worry about water hurting the molding, it has probably been varnished.How do you get paint off of wood?
