How should I remove paint from wood trim?

The wood trim in my house was originally stained. Over the years it's been painted over with 3 coats... I want to remove the paint, sand the trim, and apply a stain. Scraping and sanding the paint takes too much time and is difficult given the intricate profile of the moldings used. I want to use a chemical, but am concerned about what effect it may have on the appearance of the wood. Any comments? How should I remove paint from wood trim?
There is a latex paint stripper made by ICI Paint Company http://www.icipaints.com/index.jsp. It is the best stripper I have ever used and I was Painting Contractor for many years.

Most strippers are very caustic but this one you can even work without gloves.

Make sure you tape off walls and carpeting if doing baseboards. I have stripped many a molding and it works very well.

Some light sanding may be required (use 220 grit) in areas that are accessible and your finished job should look wonderful.

I am like you I love the rich look of stained wood trim. How should I remove paint from wood trim?
Thry to peel it of with a paint scraper if that doesnt work then try to use the solvents Good Luck
Chemicals are fine, and should never harm the wood.
