What is in a can of wood paint?

That's a comp[licated question, but basically you've got a small bit of whatever they used for dyes to get your color, a liquid base to suspend the dye in which is either an oil or latex base, %26amp; a host of other chemicals which do everything from inhibiting mold to brightening the sheen of your end result along with promoting the evaporation of the product.

Like I said, it's complicated, %26amp; every company has it's own formulas for making paint %26amp; the lower end products use more fillers, which do little besides stretch out the amounts of useful chemicals %26amp; lower the lifespan of the coating. What is in a can of wood paint?
Paint for wood.
